Description
KISS: Oil PaintingKISS is an original Oil on Linen painting by Annika Connor. Unframed, this painting is part of the artist's Sign of the Times series which began at the start of the Pandemic in the Spring of 2020. Playing on the iconography of the STOP sign Annika Connor's KISS painting urges the viewer to do, or not do, the one thing that was very high risk in those pre vaccine early Pandemic days. This piece while simple, speaks to a time of love under quarantine

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Kinda flimsy…
Thought the assembly was metal, it’s some kind of PVC.

Stacking shelves
These work perfectly, even in rooms with high ceilings. One thing I didn’t really see mentioned or highlighted anywhere is that they can be stacked. I decided to try it anyway, and it turned out awesome. I purchased two units and placed one on top of the other, which essentially created one tall shelf. It ended up being a great way to maximize vertical space and made the setup look much more custom and intentional

Do not hesitate!
I was hesitant with some reviews saying it comes with scratches. This was packaged extremely well and it only had one or two very minimal scratches that you barely can even see. It is very sturdy and took about 40 minutes to build. It looks amazing and is not bulky but holds a lot which I love. After building this one, I immediately ordered a second one to go on the other side of my window. My son walks in and saw this bookcase and now wants one for his room, so I will be definitely ordering more.
