Domaine Berthelemot Bourgogne Blanc ‘Les Parties’ 2018A Bourgogne Blanc, but made with fruit from a 38 are plot very close to Puligny with deep clay and stoney soils. It was made very much in the style of its grander sibling, with half of the blend aged in oak. The vines are part of the new estate bought by Brigitte Berthelemot in 2018 which has doubled the size of the domain to 15 hectares, and over the next few vintages we will start to see some exciting new wines from them.

Feels more expensive than it is. The inside is soft enough and warm for a PNW spring and early winter. A heavy rain will eventually soak through but light to medium exposure, like walking the campus is plenty fine. Very basic and “normal” looking. Fit is true to size.
